Comments:

This one particular driftwood stump on the shore of Birch Bay State Park attracts me.   I especially like the differing textures present... smooth round rock, flowing wood grain, and soft clouds.   In the colored version, the contrast and saturation were enhanced to emphasize the driftwood's coloring and grain.   The day itself was heavy overcast with very diffuse lighting, so the rest of the image is nearly monochrome, suggesting a tinted 'black-white' version in which the mind supplies the color.
