Step2:   Create Mask3 and Mask4, using them with editing transforms to expand Img0's original 38-100% tone range, enhancing Img0's sky/clouds/moutains image areas.
2.1   Create Mask3, using modified 'highlight tone range mask' procedures: click on Img0 and open the Mask Tool - Brightness Curve = [0,0], [38,0], [42,100], [100,100] and ADD->APPLY;   then Blur = 50, APPLY;   Brightness Curve = [0,100], [28,100], [38,0], [100,0] and SUBTRACT->APPLY;   then Feather = -2, APPLY;   and click OK, creating Mask3 and minimize its window.

Mask3

2.2   Create Img6, using Mask3 and the Color Curves transform in HSL color space: click on Img5 and open the Color Curves transform selecting the HSL color space, Input = Img5, Mask = Mask3, white =100, black = 0, form an HSL,L curve = [0,0], [50,45], [85,100], [100,100] and an HSL,S curve = [0,0], [40,55], [80,100], [100,100], click OK creating Img6.

Img6

2.3   Create Img7 and Mask4 and using the Color Curves transform in the HSL color space: click on Im6 and open the Mask Tool - Paint brush and with a soft-side medium radius brush, paint a single stroke across the image width with the brush radius slightly overlapping the left ridgeline and the tops of the right side culumus clouds.   Complete the mask to cover the remainder of the sky image area above the stroke with the 'Freehand Outline' in Add mode.   Blur = 50, Apply.   Combine = Mask3 - Overlap - Apply.   Mask4 is now created and active.   Click on Img6 and open the Color Curves transform selecting the HSL color space.   Input = Img6, Mask = 'active Mask4', white = 100, black = 0, form an HSL,L curve = [0,0], [50,45], [85,100], [100,100].   Click OK creating Img7.   Click OK on the Mask Tool, creating Mask4 and minimize its window.

Comment:   Actually 'as is' Img7 is not looking too bad, particularly if one where to clone out the middle bottom foreground foilage and the dark gray spot [dust?] at the right top image edge plus some de-saturation and sharpening.   But let's see if there is more that can be done.

Step3:   Create Img9 and Mask5 that has increased contrast and 'green' to the foreground field image area.

3.1:   Click on Img7 and open the Mask Tool - Paint brush and with a soft-side medium radius brush, paint a single stroke across the image width to the bottom right corner with the brush radius slightly overlapping the upper and right field edges.   Complete the mask to cover the remainder of the field area above with the 'Freehand Outline' in Add mode.   Blur = 20, Apply, creating an active Mask5 on Img7.

Mask5

3.2:   Click on Img7 and open the Color Curves transform in the HSV color space, Input = Img7, Mask = 'active' Mask5, white = 100, black = 0, and with the Probe select a medium light tone and a medium dark tone by 'mouse-shift-click' on the chosen Img7 tones.   This adds two control points to the HSV,V diagonal curve.   Lower the darker control point downward vertically about 5%.   Click OK, creating Img8.

Img8

3.3:   Click on Img8 and open the Color Correct transform where Input = Img8 and Mask = 'active Mask5', select a light yellow color with the Probe and move the control point arrow near the 'green' hexagon corner. Adjust brightness = -50 and amount = 7.5.   Click OK creating Img9.   Click OK on the Mask Tool, creating Mask5 and minimize its window.
