Step9: Use the Clone Tool and 'one to one' cloning to remove the foreground foilage at the bottom center and the 'dust' spot at the top-right edges of Img15.
Step10: Use Misc Tools to make final preference changes to Img15. The Clone Tool in 'darken only' mode makes it easy to darken any 'bright' pixels that may exist in the ridge line trees. The Clone Tool in 'darken only' and 'lighten only' modes will make it easy to de-emphasize the 'dark outlines' along the left and right ridge lines that have resulted from tone range mask edge feather selections and edge sharpening.
This completes the detailed steps that created the following 'Montana Fall Day' image version:

To summarize:
(1) The original image's 0 ->38% tone range was expanded to 0 -> 95% using masks to limit the tone range expansion to the original image's 0 ->38% tone range image area [foreground to/including the left and right ridge line/trees];
(2) The original image's 38 -> 80% tone range was expanded to 38 -> 100% using masks to limit the tone range expansion to the original image's 38 ->80% tone range image area [mountains and sky/clouds];
(3) Various post-processing techniques were used with masks to adjust specific image areas for optimal brightness, contrast, and color [hue/saturation];
(4) Distracting image content/spots were removed; and
(5) Mid-tone USM edge sharpening performed.
